About Me
River Stuckey
After 19 years in federal service, I shifted gears to pursue creative work in western photography, videography and training barrel horses. I’m proud to share my life with my husband, Dr. Ray Lynn Stuckey, who specializes in veterinary acupuncture and chiropractic.
In 1993, I competed in the Professional Women's Rodeo Association as a bull and bronc rider, earning Rookie of the Year. I’m also the 2023 AQHA Reserve World Champion in L2 amateur barrel racing. I have held racehorse training licenses in Oklahoma and Texas. I also enjoyed traveling to many countries and lived in Honduras, Haiti, South Korea, and Canada. As a cancer survivor I see every day as a gift and opportunity to share knowledge, laughter, and encouragement.
My mantra? Life is short. Enjoy the ride.
